I don't know if anyone's interested, but we bought a brand new Delta
31-250 in 2001 for a particular project, and was only used once in 2003. It was bought for thickness sanding on plexiglas sheet, but failed miserably because of high thermal expansion of acrylics, which try to make like a pretzel. This model has an 18" drum, a cast-iron feed table, with powered feed from 1-12 fpm.Drum speeds are 2,210 and 3300 rpm. Can sand up to 36" wide in two passes, adjusting by 1/32 increments. Also Delta infeed and outfeed tables, mounted on a plywood base with heavy casters. Also spare drum belts This unit needs a good home, I'm reluctant to get rid of any Delta equipment, but it's taking up valuable space and i have nothing to use it for.
