FS Delta 36-600 / Gloat New TS

I just got a call from Woodcraft that my Delta 36-682xl has arrived and I'm going to pick it up tonight. It wasn't supposed to be in until next week, so my wife went into pay for it yesterday so I would still qualify for the free accessory promotion from Delta. They guy said he wished his wife would buy his tools. Thought that was funny based on some earlier comments about SWMBO.

Moving forward, if anyone is just starting out and looking for a cheap TS, I am selling my Delta 36-600. Specs are posted below. If anyone has interest and would like to discuss the capabilities of the saw, I would be happy to discuss in more detail. DAGS for WoodChuck34 +

36-600 to see my comments on the saw over the years.

Thanks,

Chuck

FS Delta 36-600

Includes:

=B7TS Stand off my new saw (I offered the old one for free, no takers so I took it to the recyling center)

=B7Current Freud blade on the saw

=B7Factory Delta blade that came with the saw (used but not since having it sharpened last)

=B7Miter gauge of my new saw, old one is missing a pin, but I have an Incra so I'll throw this in

=B7Extra Belt, it's a universal motor but it does have a belt

=B7Extra set of fence rails, my plan was to butt them together for an extra long table, but never got around to finishing the mobile cabinet

=B7Delta insert plate

=B7Delta dado insert plate

=B7A stack of zero clearance insert plates that I made

=B7Original wrenches/manuals etc.

=B7Stand from my new saw (tried to give the old one away, no takers, finally took it to the recycling center)

Does not include: =B7The factory blade guard and splitter. If you look at my earlier posts, you will see that I feel that this is a hazard and when I was ripping a piece of wood, it bent and got caught in the blade. You can get a replacement part from Delta, but I wouldn't.

For an extra $50:

=B7Current mobile cart

An old desk (Hon) with a window cut out of the top that empties into a dust chute, finally emptying into a PVC pipe out the back of the desk for dust collection

Has 8 locking swivel casters for strength and ease of movement

The saw is hinged to the desk so you can tip it up and clean it out if there is a clog (although that has never happened to me)

For an extra $50

New Accessory I'll get with the purchase of my new saw, either a mobile base, a tenoning jig, or a Delta Dado set. I already have all of these things, so there up for grabs. Amazon lists them all at $90. Delta says it will take 6 weeks for delivery.

Forgot to mention, I'm in Hershey, PA. I'll snap some pictures and post them on a website over the weekend.
