Finding info on craftsman TS?

I'm thinking of replacing a hand-me-down Ryobi, and I've been checking the classifieds, ebay, etc. I keep seeing old craftsman saws for sale, but the owners don't include much info aside from the model number. Unfortunately, even after a Google search with the model number, I can't seem to find out the specs for the machine. Is there some place I should be looking, or do I just have to keep badgering sellers about table sizes and weights and so forth? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Along the same lines, can anyone tell me anything about the Craftsman

113.298030 or the 113.299315? I've looked 'em up on OWWM, and determined the original manufacturer (Emerson), but other than that, nada. Thanks.

You can go to www3.sears.com and put in the full model number to get a parts breakdown. The diagrams are pretty poor, but at least you'll be able to tell if it's belt drive, cast or stamped wings, fence style, etc.

Eric, When you find the model you are looking for on OWWM, write to the owner. He will be happy to give you any of the information you are looking for. I don't believe that owners manuals, etc will have weights listed, but they can be found on OWWM as well.

If you're willing to spend a little money, Sears has owners' manuals for most of their tools available from their parts department for under 10 bucks.
