cheap contractors in eBay

This saw is very similar to a new line of products I've seen at the BORGs here in Canada. That brand was made by General International but labeled under the ShopStar Serie. It was basically just their consumer grade products trickled down even more. I have a General International table saw (contractor) and I've looked closely the ShopStar tablesaw and it doesn't compare at all.

The only reason why they came out with this line was to provide an exclusive line of products available only to the BORGs. The small stores around won't be allowed to sell them. Who say BORG, say large volume, lower prices, and so on. Obviously, the quality isn't there though.

My only advice to you is if you're very serious in woodworking, you should buy something better but if the money is what counts the most for you, jump and let us know.

Great price, but they want $450 for freight! I guess I will let it go.

Also, I note from the feed back that one went for $157 a short while ago, so $200 is no bargain.

When I tried their shipping rate calculator, I got four different rates. if you're gonna try for one, make damn sure you know what the freight is BEFORE you bid.
