Bummer - broken website item at woodcraft

Jan 21, 2005 9 Replies

So I read the raves about the Peltor Worktunes headset in Google archives. Wouldn't you know it? Woodcraft has a sale on one model for $46.99 on their website. But the webmaster blew it when placing the item on sale. There is no "add to cart" button for the item. GRRRRRR!!!!

Easy to fix 1-800-225-1153

Customer support on the phone is only available 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m Mon-Fri. Yes, its available, but not easy if you're working as a consultant for a client during the day. That's why I love internet shopping.

Yep, sometimes people forget that mail-order can be done by phone also. I've often found it quicker to make a phone call than to wade through either clunky web interfaces or slow network response times.

Ah, that makes a difference. Woodworkers' Supply has 24 / 7 toll-free ordering. [Figured throwing that out will help me keep my "Best Customer Status" ;-) ]

Quickorder! Brilliant!

Thanks, Bob

You won't believe the response I got back from Customer Service:

Thank you for your concern. However, when that happens, that means the item is no longer available for purchase. I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

OK, that makes some sense. It is a closeout at the stores, but they have no more in the main warehouse. they should point that out.
