Once upon a time crop rotation was fairly well understood. Too bad it doesn't fit into the factory farm model.

I've never witnessed anyone climbing a wind turbine and being decapitated.

Wind turbines give electricity at a tenth of the price of gas/oil. And gas/oil will one day run out. I'm not a treehugger, but it makes sense to preserve stuff which is better suited to making plastic.
