Who sells 6" high skirting board with a rounded top edge? It used to be everywhere. Now I can't find it anywhere locally.
Thanks,
Mike D

6x1 and a router.
I thought everyone sold the reversible type, chamfered on on one side and ovolo on the other
I thought so too. It used to be the case...

Thanks for the suggestion. It may be my only option.

Thanks, yes, the above pack would do the job. Shame I can't order it from their web site. Perhaps I've been looking in the wrong branch of B&Q. I notice they don't all stock the same stuff. There was a period when my local branch suddenly stopped stocking timber altogether for a while.

I had t d the same in our house, over the years I'd used\broke all the odd bits of skirting board that matched everywhere else. It is some unusually small version of standard bullnose type stuff. Wickes happened to have some standard timber of the right size and I happened to have a router and table and the required roundover bit.
You usually find ogee on one edge and bullnose on the other. Not sure I have seen any with just a simple roundover on though.
Sounds like a dust-trap anyway (If I understand what you mean by roundover)
But if it's meant to match up with existing...
Then use plain 6 x 1 and put a small moulding on top. Doesn't usually notice unless the join is in the middle of a straight run.
