Where to buy cable connectors as used on OptiMate & Accumate battery chargers?

OptiMate and Accumate motorcycle battery chargers come with a cable which you can leave permanently connected to your motorcycle battery. There is a waterproof socket on the end, encased in rubber. You plug the charger lead into this when required.

Anyone know where I can buy these 2-pin waterproof plugs and sockets (i.e. connectors). I need exactly the same type, as used on these chargers.

One can be seen at the left of this illustration:

Yes - sorry, I should have stated "at a reasonable price", i.e. from an electrical component supplier, most likely.

but it's the waterproof bit that'll be hard to get, the actual connectors can be had for less than a quid a pair,

Sorry, my optimate connector isn't a waterproof one

have you asked in UKRM?

I have seen this question several times before, and the consensus was the best solution was to change them for something that is readily available. If you don't like modifying the wire on the optimate itself, use the supplied bare wires adapter and put a connector on the end of that.

That would be the easy way. These people supply the common weatherproof car connector:-

So it does - Thank you!

No problem. I already have the males which already have the rubber covers. The females don't need to be waterproof. I found them for 32p each on eBay!
