Where to buy 4-core 0.75mm black flex?

I've tried all my local electrical wholesalers, can anyone suggest where I can buy a length of 4-core 0.75mm black PVC flex?

Thank you, why couldn't I find that on the Maplin site?

This is for an outside light/photocell. Is it OK to use rubber for a fixed installation, I thought all wiring had to be PVC?

If it is a fixed installaton, then you should probably be using cable = not flex. Sound slike standard 3-core + Earth (6243Y) is what you need.

Or both. I usually run the 6243Y to a suitably positioned box, either just inside or outside, and run a short length of flex into the fitting.

Is it still there? Perhaps they've discontinued it. I copied those details from a previous answer when this q came up before.

As Mike John and Lurch have said, for permanent wiring use cable not flex. It its an extended distance, very exposed, or vulnerable to mechanical damage, use a cable intended for outside use eg Hi Tuf or protective conduit.
