Weird Blue/Green Stain in Bath - Removal?

My bath was left for a few months without use. There is now a weird stain which runs from under the cold tap to the plug hole. It seems to be something that has been caused by a drip from the cold tap over a period time - copper from the pipes?

Any ideas on removal?

Cheers

Hi Tricky

Sounds like verdigree. Soak some kitchen roll in lemon juice and apply to stain, keep it moist with more lemon juice and leave for several hours - that should do it.

If bath is enamel beware of anything acidic, lemon juice ok.

Acid on its own is slow: add salt to the acid for faster results. Lemon juice or vinegar for the acid.
