Came home tonight to find the zanussi washing machine refusing to start, all the lights are on and the start button is pressed the red light on the door comes on. It appears to start you here a grinding motor noise but this stops after about 1 or 2 minutes. The door lock is still on but nothing is happening ?
Could it be the water pump? it has for a while been making the grinding noise, which after just looking at the news group sounds like the bearings.
Is it a bin job ? Any ideas ?
