see that advert that is set in a beach hut in Australia....well what is that green box they are taking calls on ?...no idea what they are selling as I block adverts out .....

How do you block out the ads? I tend to mentally block them out, I might notice an interesting one, but pay little attention to what they are selling.

turn the sound down on tv...I listen to steve allen on LBC and just dangle my hand out of bed to the internet radio....LBC must have the most moronic adverts ever.....probably suit the population of London though ....

Radio ads are all like that I'm afraid. The listeners to lbc used to be classed as city finance types and the like so it was all investments and posh cars and stuff like that. Now they are effectively county wide though we are getting more of the moronic internet provider adds, with misleading things like up to xx speed in them and even ads for shops and online retailers. However if you want moronic in the extreme listen to Absolute or Kiss. Brian

the LBC ads are different on dab they are local...... if you are listening on the Internet and you get the moronic london ones....
