I was attempting to attach speaker wires to our ancient Wharfdale Linton

When I dropped one of the bits you screw in (Machine screw with moulded plastic “knob”. Like you used to get on top of Pifco multimeters).
“I wonder if the ones (complete with sockets for banana plugs) on the back of the PURE speakers will have the same thread?”
That would be a no :(
Can anyone give me a link to some on fleabay, ideally with banana sockets which will screw straight in?
