I've just bought a Franke Rotaflow tap and I'm about to fit it. In the near future I will need to remove it, but the tail pipes will get in the way.
Can anyone tell me what the thread size is so I can buy a flexible connector. Can anyone suggest where to buy one?

Try Wickes.

It will be 10 or 12 mm - probably 12. You can get flexible tails from the likes of BES. [Go to

and enter 16283 into the Product Search box. This will give you a link to the page with this item on. Follow the link, and scroll down to the item. *Don't* use the Part Number search box - that will find the part, but without a picture.]
The one I have referenced has a 12mm thread at the tap end and a 15mm compression fitting at the other end. You may be able to get similar ones with Pushfit at the other end - or even with built-in service valves. Screwfix do some very similar ones.

I have just returned from there. I bought a 15mm compression to "10mm" flexible tap connector, but it is too small.
Strangely, it doesn't measure 10mm either.

Thanks, have ordered from them as I wanted some other stuff.
