UPVC windows + net curtains

Try hot-melt glue. Alternatively, for guaranteed to stick, solvent-weld PVC adhesive will weld PVC fittings to the windows. This will not be removable without cutting away the fitting, and finally sanding away, as it'll essentially be one bit of PVC.

My parents had the same predicament so I fixed the hooks into the wall instead.

I did this for similar and just fitted the std screw hooks and eyes into the plastic. The holes could easily be 'lost' if needed but I suggest they will be there forever?

The one I did was a 5 sided 'bay' that had round 'bay posts' to form the angles. I fitted small lengths of uPVC trim material (nealy solid uPVC) in the gaps between the sections and then fitted the hooks to them.

B&Q do spring loaded net curtain poles that push out against the sides of the frame, and I suspect you can get them at any diy store or curtain retailer.

After much cursing at the sticky hooks you can buy, I got some spring loaded poles from Wilkinsons...

Did they try cleaning the surface first with acetone or similar? I put up a set of these a few weeks ago and they worked fine.

I did my bay window with hooks screwed in at each end (not in the PVC) then used some adhesive hooks from B&Q that are by someone like Scotch/3M with 'their' patented adhesive. They stick very well, the hooks are clear & the adhesive pad has a tag that lets you remove the hook & adhesive at a later date by slowly pulling down on it to stretch the glue out. After two years one of my hooks has snapped (the hook itself, the base was still stuck solid) so i've tried the tag to remove it & it works fine, no damage to the PVC.
