tyre alarm business opportunity

We had some tyre pressure indicating valve caps on our motorhome that required a special tool to remove them. I’m sure if one sufficiently worried one could find something similar.

you can buy Green Slime to help with sealing small punctures in cycle tyres so maybe a blend of both Smart Water and Green Slime in car tyres that would eject out of the valve if someone steals air?

Never seen them do anything other than rip the old valve out and fit a new one.

No need to fit one to those.

If you drive a vehicle that might need that, fit one with a lower minimum pressure.

and when replacing the tyre.

Standard practice is to rip the old valve out and fit a new one.

It would have to be extremely reliable, thus very expensive, and would no doubt need all sorts of approvals.

We have regular garden-variety vandals who do that here.

People have been doing that to car tyres, for as long as I've been alive.

I was thinking of something like a spring-loaded poppet valve under the valve stem, so not terribly complicated or expensive.

Many years ago a gypsy child was killed by doing that near here. They had been stabbing lorry tyres for some time and eventually one of them exploded rather than just deflating.
