Add 3 coloured panels for text and some led's, and you could have an army style alert state indicator on each door,
When the bathroom light is turned on, it illuminates the red 'Poo in progress' signs, then after the light has been turned off, but the fan is on the overrun, the yellow sign with 'i'd give it 10 minutes if i were you' is lit, And after the fan has turned off, the green 'all clear' sign lights.
