Touprelith F & Pliolite

Dec 13, 2019 2 Replies

Instructions are "Do not overcoat with oil borne coatings (Pliolite, etc.) unless a priming coat of waterborne masonry paint is applied first." Having run out of old waterborne masonry paint is there anything else water-based that I can safely & effectively use as a primer?

(I have emailed Toupret customer service but could do with making progress over the weekend if the rain holds off.)

Presumably anything impervious & water based - we don't know what you've got.

Why do presume it needs to be impervious? Toupret don't indicate that. And the water-based masonry paint I've been using was microporous.

As for what I've /got/, I'm afraid I don't see how that's relevant to what I /need/. I'm not looking for the equivalent of a pen stuck blindly in a list.
