Toilet 'extractor' fan.

Downstairs bog under the stairs, not too small, toilet and washbasin. However there's no extractor. It doesn't have an outside wall, though would have had before an extension was built, and there's no real prospect of putting a vent in to the outside.

As it happens, we tend to use upstairs for solid waste, and not being meat eaters there's little smell anyway. Nonetheless, if there was some sort of suitable device I'd be interested.

Is there?

You can buy standalone (battery/mains) air purifiers with carbon/HEPA filters, which might reduce the VOCs and particulates, but won't do much for methane.

Or just a bowl of pot pourri?

Theo

Surely a candle, or similar, could take care of the methane?

How much methane are we talking about?

With vegans, unlimited amounts.

Candles - they tend to set your house on fire.

It seems to me, you lost your house, with a candle and some wind.
