Thermostat Shower Inlets Qstn

I have partly installed a thermo shower along with a new bath. The shower is a bar type with the temperature control on the right hand side as a user would view it. I just want to confirm that the cold water inlet is always on the temperature control side for a bar type..

Correct?

To confirm my description.

--------------------------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | (taps) | | C H |

--------------------------- 1 X==========X 2

1 represents the Temperature control 2 represents the flow control.

I'm unable to find the manual at this time and don't know the name of the maker.

I decided that the cold inlet would be on the same side as the cold tap to simplify the pipework.

And if they aren't and it doesn't work properly once all built in and finished.....

Maybe it would be worth connecting it up temporarily - a bit of Hep20 and a few fittings might help here and checking that it all works properly first?

Thanks, Chris.

I was thinking of using a couple of those short flexible copper pipes if they aren't too long.
