You could turn updates off and install the old one over the new one. That has often sorted things out here. I also had to do this recently with waterfox, as the latest version tended to lock up randomly. Brian

Sometimes you need to use the "-p --allow-downgrade" flags to go back to an old version
That did not seem to be so about three months ago, its still said a little housekeeping and carried on. Brian
