Sticking tiles with gripfill type stuff

I need to stick up two or three ceramic tiles as a splashback behind our cloakroom sink - I'm presuming gripfill would be OK for this, (as I've already got some), rather than having to buy specialist tile cement?? Mike

Done it many times. You still have to grout though.

I had to remove a large and very heavy porcelain tile from behind our toilet after it leaked (behind a false wall). I replaced the tile with "no-nails". It's still there as solid as ever.
