Shower Options

Hello All,

I want a shower (well the missus tells me I need one!)

We currently have a combination boiler (worcester HighFlow 400) and from what I can tell when nothing else is running it can push out a maximum of

13l per min. I suppose that a big column shower with body jets etc is out of question, but would quite like one of those nice big plate sized shower heads with the additional hand held shower attachment.

Is a combi up to this?

Alternatively what are the options? Can I put a hot water tank with a pump in the loft and feed it off the combi? Should the combi have a return inlet for the hot water out of the tank which needs re-heating? Realistically, how good can a combi be?

I want a good shower (the house I moved from was run from an unvented pressurised tank, which was amazing!) so I dont want to put in an electric shower?

Questions questions questions eh?!?

Thanks in advance

Mike
