I had a stock of Rough Service incandescent bulbs for use in my garage drop light, but the last one died the other day, probably more of old age than heavy use. Searching the internet seems to come up with the news that LEDs are all stronger than any old rough service bulbs, so I took an LED from my stock and inserted it. The first time its cage hit anything, the bulb died, with a torn internal connection. Oh well, I have ordered some replacement old-style bulbs, while stocks last. I see Sylvania make a Rough Service LED bulb in the US, I'm still looking for one available in the UK.
CPC's website ignores the 'Rough Service' part of the description, which doesn't help.
