Retractable 30M Wall-mounted Hozelock

Apart from minor things like the instructions not matching the device, I am pleased with the device.

However the side that has a short hose to connect to the inlet tap is covered by a plastic disc.

Mine falls off!

I cannot seem to find a way to fix it in place without adding something like double-sided tape but that shouldn't be necessary.

It seems to be the result of a poor design decision.

Has anyone else sufferred the same and found a solution?

TIA, Alan

IME it is held by friction. A firm blow should do it

Ridiculously, I discovered how to do it by chance. I was in the process of photographing it and spotted to L-shaped bits in the plastic. They were so shallow I had missed them previously.

When I checked the disc, I found another two but reversed. I replace the lid gingerly and gave it a twist and Bob's yer Uncle!

No violence needed!
