This isn't DIY, but I'm hoping for suggestions.
Our washing machine has just died - my own fault since I was praising, it only yesterday, in another newsgroup. It's an 11 years old Miele and we are contemplating a replacement.
Our problem is that it is stacked with a (heavy) tumble dryer on top, and is hemmed in on both sides by other 'stuff'. Furthermore, there is very little free space in the 'Utility' room.
I am past the point where I want to tackle lifting & relocating the tumble dryer in order to get the old washing machine out, and a new one in.
Whilst I'm sure we could get a new machine delivered, I very much doubt it they would do all the extra work involved to put everything in place and take away the old one.
This can't be a new problem, so how do we get this done?
