Replacing a garage roof.

Nov 08, 2005 3 Replies

My house was built in 1984 and the garage has what appears to be corrugated conrete panels for the roof. These have now deteriorated and allow water to soak through or simply pore through the holes that have opened up.

I would like to replace the roof with something a bit better, maybe with some insulating qualities as well.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Rob.

Twin wall Polycarbonate? Not only does it insulate it will let light into the garage.

Asbestos ;-)

Polycarb soulds like hell when it rains.

What about going the whloe hog, and doing a proper roof, if the walls will support it. I have DIYed my house roof :-
