Not the case where I live. If I’m lucky and booking in the morning I might get an afternoon slot on the same day. More usually I have to wait a day.

What other sort of booking can you do except 'before' something? :-)

My god. Incineration would have all the greens jumping down your throat because of 'carcinogens'

I don't believe we burn ANYTHING in east Anglia. They even are getting upset about wood burners

I think they probably mean 'thermosetting' plastic.

Which is well past the point where you simply put anything that's in the slightest bit suspect in the default landfill bin

You shouldn't have any difficulty weighing it in. I took a bag of old copper in recently and got £25 for it, which happened to be their minimum pruchase. Don't remember the weight though, a bit over 2Kg I think.

Excellent news. 50MW of RELIABLE baseload leccy.

Recent visit involved driving on to the weighbridge and taking the stuff out - the difference in weight equaled the amount.

3 rubble sacks of cables - maybe 40kg (all the wiring from a 2 bed house) - £80. 8 large radiators - £25.
