priming new plasterwork - strange effect

Hi maybe someone can advise/guess what's happening

new plasterwork, dried out etc, apply Jonstons "obliterating white" matt emulsion diluted 5:1 with water as per instructions.

applies fine to new plaster ceilings (scimmed plasterboard) and mos new plasterwork on walls.

however...

on some walls the paint doesn't cover evenly leaving patches which are then very visible - where is thin is very much lower than around patch where coverage is ok.

Since want to finish walls with emulsion (other than white or magnolia & probably not a matt type) need to remedy this, but no idea how.

(a) anyone any idea what is happening with the base/primer coat (b) how to fix the patches so they won't show up

baffled

What language do you speak? If you are fluent in English can you speak a little more clearly please. I appreciate the caste of "builder" marks us as thugs but even so...

When you plaster a wall, the first time you paint it use "contract" or "trade" emulsion. It gives a better finish for the first layers. It is a poor finish though but it allows the walls to breathe and when the stuff starts to look dingy you can then use a good quality paint.

My guess is the areas might be over-polished (easier and more likely to do on a wall than a ceiling). You could go over them with sandpaper, or try diluting a bit more (bit late for that now).

Thanks for input. Yes walls are very well finished/polished, so will try the sandpaper route
