Bottom bit isn't catching when the door is shut or locked. Any suggestions?
Overt spam.
It's a genuine question.
More detail would help!
However the frame may not have been correctly installed or the door may have distorted if the glass/panels were not correctly fitted
There's a gap at the bottom the light comes in through
Is this a new door, or an old door with a new problem?
Have you checked the frame is true and square, and the same for the door?
Does the catch come out of the door fully when the door is locked when it's open?
Has someone kicked the door recently?
That helps a lot!
Is it a composite or traditional PVCu door?
Does it have mortise bolts top, bottom and centre or just roller cams which engage in the keeps?
As another poster has correctly said, is the frame true, how old is it and has it suffered damage?
Erm not sure - suspect it's just a upcv door (ex council a good few years ago - looks like a modern style rather than the older types)
Just roller cams
Haven't had a level on the frame. Don't think its suffered damage.
The latch is out all the time and there are roller cams.
Don't know.
Plastic.
How about putting a photo up?
A level is not the way test for trueness.
Get a combination square and use it to draw a pencil line on the indoors side of frame 8-10mm out from the inside edge at each corner and at the centre hinge and striker plate. Close the door and see how it lines up with the pencil marks. The door should be equally within the lines all round.
This will show if the door/frame is out of true or not. If, as you say, the door only has roller cams, it is possible that the cams at the bottom of the door are missing the keep plate at the bottom all together.

Your photos don't really show much except that you have a very, very old door and insecure door. I would seriously consider beefing up security or replacing the door completely.
Until you establish that the door and frame are true you are wasting your time. Your hinges have little adjustment and should not be touched until the cause has been established.
Carry out the check I suggested and report back.
Just in case there's any confusion I've just been into the repair workshop and misaligned a door and taken some photos. You can see the pencil marks and how the door doesn't line up within them. It should of course line up if it's set correctly.
