Planning application - side elevation

Feb 16, 2017 0 Replies

Next door have submitted a planning application for a large two-storey extension. However the architect's plans on the council website only show the side elevation from the left-hand side which is not affected at all, so only the new bits that stick out beyond the existing house are shown.

Is this a "convention" or are they trying to hide something that isn't obvious from the plan view? Not being architects we can't really visualise what's going to affect us from the plan view.

Surely the side elevation should be from the side that's being build on?
