Atmospheric pressure on Mars is about 6mbar, hence the boiling point of water is about -5°C

which I think means it will sublime.
I was watching the NASA-TV clean-feed stream, I was surprised they all had digital wireless headsets, and at times communications with the spacecraft was better than talking to the next desk at mission control.
