PAYG SIM minutes don't run out - no monthly top up

Yes, I have done this and it makes a few more messages arrive as texts but doesn't do it for all by any means. I think it's just 'SMS via the BT service' that's affected by this.

Yes I know - I have several of both types. It wasn't clear what "Doesn't exist anymore" and it read as though the Data Rewards doesnt' exit when in fact it is the 321 that disappointing has disappeared.

well my credit never runs out. I use the thing so little that I never convert it to a time expiring 'deal'.

but you do use it enough, so that it doen't expire for under-use

unlike a phone kept in the glove box for emergencies that might not be used for 5 years (I think I've broken down 3 times in a life time)

my ASDA mobile PAYG is still available

even though the webpage pushes monthly bundles at you, they aren't compulsory and it works like a true PAYG if you don't use bundles

it wasn't just Voda, it was everybody

But it wasn't just "rental" they were extracting with their monthly dip into your PAYG credit

it was to payback the subsidy on the phones, which doen't really cost 10 pounds

It is used more for data than for calls. I assume that is what keeps it alive.

And incomiong calls - do they count?

Is it actually correct that Asda is migrating to Vodafone? I thought they had only just (well I the last few years) migrated from Vodafone. It is Virgin Mobile that is supposed to be moving from EE to Vodafone, though this may now be O2.

If you?ve seen the most recent dire financial results of Three you would see why they are desperate for pennies. Senior staff have walked, presumably before they got pushed.

its easy to get an iphone unlocked, EE will even do it for free if out of contract about £8 i think if still in contract

Thanks -interesting. Presumably a vacancy for a MVNO at Vodafone now they?ve been jilted by Virgin Mobile. Funny how quickly management strategies change - it wasn?t that long ago that Vodafone was getting rid of MVNOs.

Lebara are the only regular PAYG MVNO left using Vodafone.

VOXI has PAYG but restricted to calls and text. Data is only available on monthly plans. It is a brand of Vodafone rather than a true MVNO.
