Paint scraper Which one ?

Which is the best electric paint scraper to remove. layers of old paint on interior walls. And manageable enough not to damage the plaster

A heat scraper won't usually work on emulsion paint.

Without damage to the plaster? Depends on how well the paint is stuck. It it comes off easily, a hand scraper will be just as quick.

Reading his other thread, the plaster he wants to keep is 17th or 18th Century painted plaster, possibly with wall paintings on it which has been painted over. We also don't know what sort of paint he's trying to remove, as they all need different treatments.

I still reckon he needs to contact his local specialists or the National Trust conservation people.
