Luckily Dad was too young to see 'active service' (given what sitting ducks tankers were to U boats) but yes, whilst I don't hold the boat responsible for what the people did with it, it might be 'a reason' to take it down. ;-)
Time for a large picture of the insides of a microprocessor methinks. ;-)

One of a number the Germans had built in that period and taken as war prizes. Most are still sailing and appear at the various Tall ship race events under different names .
The Eagle visits Europe relatively often anyway , it was in Portsmouth UK in 2019.

Guess you need to get your oats from somewhere, not sure it's as practical in London.
Most of the coffe shops around me offer diffettn milks but it;s still £3+ for a coffee. So rarely bother with such things. I was at a nightclub and a girll asked me why I have a pint in each hand. I told her it was because my Dr. told me I needed a more balanced diet as I took sips fropm each glass in turn.
I make cocktails and need to check if they mix well with none milk milks, doesn't with soy.
it all started over 4000 years ago a difficult habbit to kick I guess. And vegans use honey which is basiclly bee sick, and figs contain dead wasps.
Well the missing kids thing is a good idea.
Don't think that is a true as believed it to be.
Tghe EU likes to produce pelnty of milk and dairy and sell it off cheap to russia and other countries.
The law, there's lots of bactria in milk that should be killed off, and selling or giving products that can be harmful especailly to children isn;t considered a good idea.
Maybe it's why I'm not a fan of traveling and I;ve never had a bike or can. Strangley enough amounst my friends the only two campaging vegans have a car and like traveling the world, they don;t like it when I talk about global warming and how perhaps they should give up the car and air travel, and turn the gas central heating off.
Still pretty dangerous in big cites. and I've come closer to being knock over as a pedestrian since the cycle lanes were add. Getting off a bus is now more dangerous that getting off the old route masters while they were moving.
I've never used a bike / moped / scooter / motorbike in any condition. Always walked or taken public transport.
Yes the strengh is important and what you buy is pretty weak. I have a friend that takes CBD oil not sure exactly of her condition though.
Yes it;s weird I used to quite like liver, but not had it for years now. Don't think I'll ever have it again, some of the organs they cook on masterchief seem just unpalitable to me even though I've never tried them. I quite like cockles but have never tried winkles or muscules or clams or many other shell fish. Still eat salmon, cod, mackerel, but only from tins.

While it's not something I would consider, I doubt you'll find anyone arrested for this. If you know better please be kind enough to post a case or what law might be broken.
I know you won't.

It would be a jaw, not a law, that would be broken in those circs.

Erm, when I said 'make their own' oat milk I was talking about oat milk and they sell oats in London. ;-)
Mad.
Quite ... and I never have.
Hehe.
Daughter saw and bought me a bottle of non milk Baileys and it was lovely.
It's only difficult if you are indoctrinated (and I guess most are). I only had to think about it a bit and that was all that was needed.
I don't believe they do. It's 'exploitation'.
Quite ... and they made it for them, not us.
Well, I'm not sure all figs do but I believe some figs can.
It is. Maybe we could pictures of dead calves on the mill cartons over here, at least that would more accurately represent the process, rather than some mythical 'Happy Cow' milk.
It is mate and it's still happening around the world today.

I'm not sure if 'likes to' as opposed to 'is now doing and can't stop. Except many dairy farmers have stopped both because demand has dropped and they no longer find it commercially viable (or they have to diversify into selling specialist cheeses or ice cream) or they give it up, sometime giving their herd to a sanctuary as they don't want to see them slaughtered (although few farmers 'see' them slaughtered, they just go off in a truck or trailer and don't come back).
Quite, but I meant in principal, the morality or even suitability of it (drinking the milk of another species after we have weaned ourselves)?
How do you get about then without 'traveling?
Ok?
Whilst I get your point (and there is some hypocrisy there), vegans aren't always (and aren't obliged to be) active environmentalists. It's more about that if we stopped feeding as many livestock as there are people in the world, the world would be better for it. So it's not an active environmental drive as such but a positive / fortunate side effect.
It can be, but you should have some responsibility yourself, not to put yourself in the position of being a victim etc.
Yup. And I bet many a cyclist has been taken out by a zombie pedestrian walking in front of them. Again, it's all about personal responsibility and staying 'aware' of your surroundings.
How come?
That's ok if it suits (or you ensure it suits by moving to where public transport would suit your needs) but it can be very time consuming, compared with having your own transport.
So I understand.
Ok. We might look into it further but the bottom line is likely to be a new shoulder etc.
I think it's even more disgusting to look at than 'meat'. It would seeing roadkill and licking your lips. ;-(
No, I didn't mind the taste / texture of a *nice* bit of liver ... it's just the tubes and now, the though that an animal had to die for me to be able to eat it ... and I certainly didn't like it even that much.
Dad used to buy most of those (and whelks) from the wet fish still that was about 50 paces away in a pub forecourt. I never looked forward to those teas (but tried most things) and would just fill myself up on the bread and butter.
We used to have fish and chips, often when out (at the seaside when it's part of the deal) and I quite liked sardines on toast. Now I'd rather they stayed where they are, swimming in the oceans as there are plenty of other things I can eat. ;-)
Plus I'm not sure of the toxin / plastic levels in fish these days, and all the over fishing and environmental damage so ....
Right, time to make dinner ... such choice! ;-)
