Well its only one step away, Modern cartoons use CGI for 'tweening' between the frames to make them look smooth and reduce the workload on animators. The CGI has just replaced the positions with a supposedly more solid looking form of 'reality'. It al really depends on the design of the thing being animated and what attributes the movements were given to start with. I imagine to get real rabbit movements most bunnies might not want to have little tracking spots added to their fur and tracked by the computer. Brian
