OT: Swansea Tidal Lagoon rejected

In article , "Dave Plowman (News)" writes

The pound has just slipped as a result of May's total capitulation to the EU. Otherwise it's more or less back to where it was before Project Fear imploded.. And think of all those jobs made more secure by our soaring exports especially to non-EU countries.

So it's the EUs fault if the IRA were to resume their bombing campaign.

It would appear to be the EU which doesn't care about such things. Not only are they prepared to antagonise the IRA they will also stir up the Protestant side by suggesting a united Ireland.

There is no problem with the Irish border unless the EU insists on creating one.

But how much of that was a good old rival gang war to control the illicit drug supply in NI?

Well the IRA controlled a lot of it - and prostitution.

A united Ireland has been under discussion since well before the Brexit referendum. Absoluely nothing to do with the EU.

er no. It's the UK that needs a border to keep the immigrants out.

We can do that at Liverpool Docks.

Since NI wanted to be IN the EU, they can stay there instead.

But we wont recognise their rights to the NHS or to any form of financial support.

err no. The UK doesn't want to keep the immigrants out, the UK lets the immigrants in.

Shame Hadrian's wall is in the wrong place you could have used that.

Perhaps he can get Trump help him rebuild it?

Very odd the way these Little Englanders hate being called it. When they want rid of Scotland and Ulster.

Part of the Good Friday agreement was that the Irish government wouldn't make territorial claims on NI and the British government wouldn't appose a united Ireland if the people of NI voted for that arrangement. Both required a change in law in both countries.

I quite like the way they call others little englanders. They must be foreigners that don't have English as their first language.
