OT: Road Tax

I've used that junction many times, Southampton to Gatwick. It's not great, but not too bad.

Have to go to Heathrow on Saturday :(

probably OK going north onto the M25 - it's the southbound direction that tends to get blocked.

Yeah, there is usually moderate congestion on the approach from the north. Once on the exit to the M3 it's not *too* bad. Average speed cameras for a while seem to keep the flow moving. Entering the M25 from the M3 from the south going either way doesn't usually give too much trouble.
