OT: Piggin PC!

Every time I open a web page, a large box appears, recommending that I should download a video player;

"A player is available and it's Recommended to View Content Richer, more immersive user experiences Experience the web at its fullest Beautiful HD video, faster graphics rendering, and high performance Bug fixes and security enhancements

Download Now

This is a Recommended download and Installing the player takes under a minute".

I have no idea how it got there, possibly granddaughter playing games, but its driving me mad.

How do I get rid of the bloody thing?
