OT : Lost for words ...

As a former bellringer myself, I'm lost for words ...

While I’m not a bell ringer, I’ve learned the fascination for some of the diehards is understanding / mastering the complexity of the various combinations of the bells.

I understand that, traditionally, the various combinations were recorded on paper - I assume in a special notation.

Obviously, like most things, computers have offered ‘improved’ methods- including trying combinations.

I’m prepared to be corrected but I’m pretty sure the above is pretty close.
