OT: Even NASA has gone nuts

I used to receive e-mail notifications from NASA about sightings for the ISS. Then they stopped, without notice. I went onto the NASA website and followed the link for 'Renew Alerts'. And found that alerts are being stopped, and apparently the only way to find out when a sighting is imminent is to download an 'app' onto an iOS or Android mobile device. Nuts!

A message of complaint will soon be sent.

I might have known. It will probably be confined to 'Truth Social', so he gets a cut of any revenue. I wish NASA had put that link on it website in the ISS FAQ section.

I received emails telling me if was going to happen.

As it happens, I rather like the app. It tells you much more.

  1. I didn't receive any messages!

  1. I don't do 'apps'. I have a tablet that does Android, but I only turn it on on rare occasions. My mobile 'phone is a 'phone.

I know someone who 'doesn't do internet'. It just means they miss out on a lot of things.

I can be a Luddite too, however my phone is a smartphone and it's a very useful tool It even makes old fashioned telephone calls.

Mine spends its life feeding me 2SV codes!
