I purchased an item of clothing from my local Tesco shop, but it is bad. I wanted to not only return it for a refund, but also to complain and explain about it, in the vague hope that Tesco might do something to prevent the problem occurring again. It is an F&F product, their own brand. Over several years, I have bought the same product, and each time it has visibly reduced in quality and weight of material. Now it is useless.
I went on to the Tesco.com website, and went round and round and round trying to find some way of actually communicating with somebody. Each reference to Help or Contact just goes to another list of specific menus, none of which are relevant. When I did find a couple of 'phone numbers, they both went to Tesco Groceries only, with extremely long waiting times. They are rapidly losing any credibility as a customer-oriented business. Are they not obliged to have some method of actually contacting them?
