OT - checking why a flight was diverted

Just idly watching planes on FlightRadar24 because there seems to be a military exercise going on with loads of helicopters.

I noticed a commercial flight suddenly turn back. It then curved around for a bit then headed for Stansted where it landed.

The flight was FR5074. Buzz on behalf of Ryanair. Birmingham to Poznan in Poland.

I am now agog with curiosity and wondering where I can find out why it diverted.

Is there a site which specialises in this kind of information?

Cheers

If it was something really out of the ordinary it might be mentioned on pprune. (Professional pilots rumour network).

It could be as simple as a problem which would ground the aircraft if it was in Poland, but here we can fix it. Even listening to atc you quite often hear this sort of thing. Not safety critical, just operationally significant to the company, so sod the passengers. Brian

Thanks for that. Nothing about that particular flight, but I sense days of endless rabbit holes browsing the forum.

formatting link
has a database of incidents, mostly of the 'bent the airframe' variety. Nothing showing for your flight.
