OT: automatic van hire - possible?

The exhaust from the cars is orange and stings the eyes!

No, that's why the seat goes up behind his arse so he is sitting down in the direction of the forces on him, exactly as I said in the first place. there is no hanging on. He should be able to take about 5G like that so he has a way to go before its going *fast*.

Well the OP said it was a jet, who am I to disagree?

Bit hard to do a wheelie then?

Look at the seat, it goes up well behind his arse and he is lying down, he is sitting as far as the forces are concerned.

Why would that be?

It may well be, but that's not fr9om nitromethane

I'd have said it had the sweet smell of N2O in there somehere too, unless nitromethane itself smells sweet?

And contains nitric acid. My comment wasn't a suggestion but a statement of fact.

Dunno. It's been over 30 years since I handled any. (It's used by biochemists, too.)

Have you considered actually thinking about it?

Wrong question.

Try "Have you tried thinking?

Sorry, yes. You're right. In my defence, I am a little tired.

It still won't work because dennise is a little bit retarded. She will have an answer but it will be wrong.

If it does NOT release oxygen, its useless as a power booster.

You run nitro to overcome breathing issues. Its effectively an oxygenator.

If the oxygen goes into ntrogen dioxide, its wasted.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing...

It may well appear to be such, but its unlikely to be true

Nitric acid decomposes at high temperatures.

4 HNO3 ? 2 H2O + 4 NO2 + O2 Nitrogen dioxide is a POSSIBLE component of a badly tuned engine.

But has little to do with nitromethane.

Do you actually have a reason to believe what you said?

Well I have, and have concluded that there is in theory almost no difference.

But then its perfectly apparent the laws of physics in your brain are not congruent with those found in the consensual reality shared by human beings....

Is that why you are m akiong staremnts that have no nearing in engineering:

Enlighten us WHTYcannot a drag bike be as fast as a drag car? its only essential difference is the number of wheels..after all..but an aircraft goes faster with NO wheels..

Far be it for me to defend dennis, but it seems to me huge has no justification for his assertion.

No need to defend me, I was correct, if they chose to be stupid its up to them. A bit like the idiots that don't know the bit of code I wrote actually works. The "#" being a comment delimiter. Sure it would have been better if I hadn't accidently missed the "!" but that's more a convention for more complicated scripts. the one I wrote will work in most shells without the need to explicitly state which shell to use. In fact if I had missed out the line altogether it would even work under windows cmd. So now we know huge, TMH, arw, etc. don't have a clue about that either, not that they will ever admit they are wrong.

Oh, yes. You're an idiot.

(BTW, you aren't asking the question you think you are.)
