looking to buy some platform (step) ladders, something around an 8 step or
1.6 meter.
Anyone recommend an online store ?

UI used ladderstore.com and had absolutely no problem . 8 Step plus platform .

as an 8 tread, but photo shows 4 - but it is 1.72m, so I guess the photo is wrong.
£57 seems good to me. Free delivery.
