I've got 2 Neos Smartcams - little wireless cameras, easy to install and mount, cloud-based access so I can see what if anything's happening when I'm away from home. Worked reliably for the last few years.
Just had an email from them saying they're 'locating resources elsewhere' from November, and to throw ('recycle') the cameras away as they'll stop support and, critically, shut down theit cloud services. They'll only work to record to the SD card, removing a key reason for having them.
Seems there is some light (alternative opensource firmware/software):
There's a moral in all of this somewhere . . .
