Annoyingly, my Samsung UE22H5600 has deleted the three Smart Apps that I only ever use (sometimes).
Googling the problem shows many people with the same issue and Samsung say TV's from 2014 backwards no longer support these three catchup apps, but my TV was bought in 2017 and it is a 2016 model.
Navigating to the VIDEO section under CATEGORIES is a huge list of junk apps, including France24, Amazon Prime and Netflix and lots more, plus iPlayer and BBC News but that's it.
Does anyone else have a Samsung TV that has done the same ?.
It's a few months since I tried to use My5 on this TV so I don't know when they vanished.
Failing that, are there any external catchup devices that insert into an HDMI port that a) use Cat5 ethernet and b) Don't stick out too far because this TV is on a window cill and I need to pull curtains closed behind it and c) Full HD only, no need for 4K.
All the Roku boxes seem to use wireless ethernet and seem to project out behind the set.
