Ludlow market

What a charming town Ludlow is, and what a great place for a weekend break away!

Half of the town's business consists of turning pigs into tasty pork products, which the other half then sell to you through their vast network of cafes, tea shops, pubs and restaurants.

There's also a market (with hog roast) where there's an entire stall devoted to selling gaffer tape and other useful tapey products. That's a town with its priorities straight.

Looks like there is a market on 4 days per week and a special craft fair and country market tomorrow.

I went there last year to the medieval Xmas fair. Proper good it was too. Lovely town.

They are a bit sharp on parking though! Any stranger, parking on the outskirts is likely to be caught by their poorly worded signage.

We stopped in Leominster on the way up. Nice, but I don't think it's as nice as Ludlow.

There's also a stall in the same market that sells old cameras.
