Hi all,
I have a problem that is driving me nuts, but the only answer I can think of seems anti social.
I am in a sheltered housing ground floor flat; some flats have a small 3ft wide raised front garden at the front o0f them and the pavement, mine is the first one in on a corner!
There is a low wall holding back the soil around 2 ½ feet high, the wall is a double brick thickness, just right for sitting on!
People make a bee line to sit on this wall and phone home, which means if I have my window open I can hear them often louder than my TV.
Any resident can plant the border and most like summer bedding, I would like to have done what others have done and put ground covering plants that cover the wall and stop people using it as a seat.
As it is not my wall I cant re shape the top to make sitting on it uncomfortable, and was thinking of some sort of edging strip right by the wall, but if it is easy to pull out the local drunks coming from a nearby pub will remove them, they do all sorts late at night thinking its funny!
Any suggestions please?
