I'm pretty sure it will be using mineral oil, so the quickest way to check the seals would be to add more or less any engine or gearbox oil. I doubt if there is anything special enough about the seals to justify that price. At that age they could be imperial rather than metric.
Why do so many arseholes reply to perfectly straightforward questions? Simple answer. Buy the correct oil, learn how to correctly drain and refill it, plenty of very good videos on YouTube. If it works you've got yourself a very goof jack if it doesn't then there are collectors/restorers out there who will be glad to have it, don't scrap vintage stuff, they're not making it any more!!
